If I could count how many hours in total I've played it since release date, it'd be about 20 hours. I haven't played it in about 2 months!

I think the hype is what sold the game, and while it is a very good game, it just doesn't cut it in my opinion.

Is there anyone else who has it but rarely plays it?

Have to say it's probably my favorite shooter I've played, and I'm shoite at all shooters. Just wish I could use the XBox controller on it. :P

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it but it doesn't tickle my fancy. I could never get too into it..

I'm kind of addicted to MGO, that's probably the reason!

i'm with you LiNgWiStIkZ. I played through it once just to play the story (quite short i must admit) and see what it was like and after i finished it, i never really picked it up again cos i didn't really get into it. i haven't even tried online play properly. i tried it for five minutes as soon as i got and that was it. i got mauled but that wasn't the point.

i enjoyed playing COD4 both online and offline but this game just felt heavy and laboured (i'll get slaughtered for saying that) but it doesn't move as fluidly as COD4. graphics and visuals on Killzone 2 are astounding to say the least but i just wanted a bit more from the game.

Dunno- COD4 feels "light and fluffy" as you move around- not that that's a bad thing per se.

Played MP on KZ for about a month and jumped into games of MP on COD4- no problems apart from the melee button. Stayed on COD4 for a few days and have gone back to KZ2- got absolutley murdered for quite a few games until the controls and weight clicked again- prefer that weight in the controls myself.

I've put about 14 or 15 hours into the online section since release. I do enjoy it but I tend to play it in spurts. I'll put a few hours in and then not touch it for a couple of weeks.

I've only played the first level of the campaign, it gives me motion sickness so I'm not bothered finishing it.

I enjoyed the single player and the multiplayer is good, but I would rather cod4 online so it rarely gets played tbh..

I'm kind of bored of the games i have atm so i'm sort of moving around the older games i have atm, and i'm not gonna be buying any for the next week anyway til the LC is over. Killzone is always fun to play for an hour or so every now and again but i find it can be quite frustrating!

I play it rarely. Something I need to rectify, it's an amazing game online.

I traded it in after I finished the single player story, thought it was average overall.

Killzone 2 has been keeping me away from MGO actually. I should really go back and play the SCENE expansion maps I paid for but haven't even played yet :pac:

You should play with the Boards.ie KZ2 clan. :)

I'm with the clan already :)

Did you hear about the new MGO update? Some feature tweaks, Shadow Moses Sniper Wolf/Crying Wolf map and Old Snake for all gamemodes!

Oh I know you're in the clan, I mean you should play with the clan :pac:

Yeah I read about that earlier on Kotaku, it's pretty sweet! A whole week of announcements. I wonder if trophies are coming to MGS4/MGO?

i dont have this title, purely because i wasnt a fan of the the weightyness of the controls and movement from the demo, but thats just my opinion, maybe i played cod too much lol.

I was thinking about this the other day, that when KZ2 came out at least half of my regular online list, was playing this game, pretty much all evening and now I couldnt tell you the last time i saw someone playing it. Anyone who was a KZ2 fan on my list seems to have reverted back to either COD4 or COD5, (which suits me cos i do like my COD5:) ) . i was sort of wondering if KSZ2 had fallen off the radar with people, it was a massively hyped up game pre-release....

I liked it when it came out i was ok at it but then my internet went only got it back a month ago and when i went back to it it really annoyed me i had lost all my ability the controls are really annoying its very very hard to maek tiny little adjusments to your aiming with out the crosshair jumping all over the place.

HAvent played it since but i hear there is a patch for the controls out now so i may go back.

Maybe, although there are a few people on my friends list who are always playing Killzone 2. I play it quite a bit as well, with what little time I've had to game lately. Any time I go to join a game there are hundreds to choose from so it's still pretty busy online.

A good few people have come back since the patch so I say give it a shot and see if you prefer the new control settings. You should play with the Boards clan. :pac:

Online is great, the capture and hold modes are the best.

I stopped playing it after unlocking the turret class, because it was shotgun zone but started again recently and Just got to general at the weekend.

I would put it up there with COD if they fixed the shotgun and people used there mics more.People seem to use there mics alot more on xbox live ( not always a good thing) and that helps alot for strategic matchmaking.

I like it alot actualy the single player is a great experience i played through twice so far just wish there was a co op.

Got a few invites for the boards clan all right but i cant seem to be able to join with out loosing my other clan, and when i was on there never seemed to be anyone from boards on.

Cleared it once, never turned it on again. Great game though from the time I did play it.

I tried to clear the single player on the elite difficulty setting, the AI is so unforgiving. I got to the part where you have to clear a bridge and couldnt get by it so I havent played it for about a month now.

Well I'm looking to fix that now that I'm leader of the clan. Hit me a friend request anyways, maybe we can get a few games in some time.

I got stuck on the last level in the Campaign and got too frustrated to return to it, something I might rectify tomorrow on my day off, if I can put down Fallout 3 for a while. Besides that I think the game looks and feel superb.

I only played it once or twice online, and while I did enjoy it, I rarely play PS3 online that much. Maybe it's because it's frustrating getting mauled or because people can be right annoying dicks online I don't know. I have MGS4 but haven't even tried the online.

I'll probably get back into KZ2 online, then COD4 online (lethal if you don't know what you're doing!) and then MGO, eventually.

I've went back to playing about an hour online a night. There's never any of the clan on when I'm on! Mind you, I work stupid hours so it's normally about 2 in the morning when I'm playing.
