    Yo,

Whats the best paint for styrofoam (stuff that you get in boxes to protect electronics).
Going to try two pieces into a building interior and dont want the stryofoam to "melt" due to the paint!

    Thanks

In my experience you can't go wrong with the stuff you'll generally use on your ceiling. A tin of white emulsion (i.e. water based) from a DIY shop, something like Woodies brand paint will work every bit as well as say Dulux when it comes to styrofoam for example. If you have a specific colour in mind they'll usually be able to mix up the exact shade for you in the shop. Just remember to add some water to it though because it'll make it much easier to work with especially in the warm weather we're currently experiencing. Hope this is of use to you.

Skulls is right. Get some cheap emulsion from Woodies and apply it liberally to the foam, but I would'nt recommend watering it down. Even better if you can get textured paint for masonry, you can get roughly the same result if you mix some sand into normal emulsion.

Water down some PVA glue and paint that over the styrofoam before you being painting. It seals the foam and stops it melting.
