    tho the background... did you use alot of 'clarity tool' in lightroom perchance?

    Yes I did some post-processing in lightroom, mostly the predefined "punch" - which boasts the clarify setting - too much? Though I was using my 50mm 1.4 lens (which has rather nice bokeh anyway) with f/1.8, 1/2000sec and IS0 200 and it think this mostly explains the background.


    Also some of droplets weren't clear against the sky and I applied a grad filter (in lightroom) and I think I could have done better with the transition area.

    aye the bokeh is lovely, just that haloing round the trees is a bit ikky, lovely shot otherwise, grad filter is alright, transition is a bit drastic, not too bad tho
