    Please delete or move this if it's inappropriate. I think it has merit, but I don't want to contravene any rules!

    Someone just mentioned the Simple Diary to me (ok, they mentioned it on Twitter) and I think it's a fascinating idea. It's basically a diary that asks you to provide very selective information about your day, designed by a writer. There isn't a huge scope for information within the diary, but I only looked at a few sample pages and was intrigued. To be honest, I'm a very lazy writer at the best of times (and the best of times were at least three years ago) so I wonder if it would help to provoke me into action again. I also thought others might like to know about it, if they don't already.

    Are there any other helpful tools like this around that anyone would recommend?
