There's not a lot of artists posted on this forum that I'd pay to see, but you don't see my bloody bitching about them, feck off.

    My tickets only came yesterday.

Leaving SO early for Dublin tomorrow!

EDIT: Just got an e-mail from TM about VIP tickets, we have to get our tickets scanned and then directed to a diff palce for our wristbands.

Of course you're free to spend your money as you will. But ninety euros plus to see a manufactured pop artist whose music is catchy, well produced, but forgettable, supported by a run-of-the mill R'n'B singer whom half of the people going haven't even heard of - that's extortion in my books.

Sixty would have been a fair price.

Ciara isn't supporting by the way.

Some people don't find her music forgettable, anyways this thread isn't for bitching...people are going and are excited! So let it be.

I'm just genuinely interested to know if it bothers people that are going to any extent that she's miming. I mean, would you rather she sang live?

    Honest question

She's not the first nor the last person to mime, it's an argument that crops up all the time - she hasn't stopped so stop going on about it.I've seen her sing live and she's alright, nothing special...I don't care about the miming, I go for the whole show, spectacle.

    Anyways, can't wait :D

She probably wouldn't do the cool dance moves then! Anyone know who is supporting tomorrow?

Well I brought my daughter last night and she thought it was brillant.
I knew she would be miming but certainly all songs were not.
Here is one she sang last night I recorded Britney live at O2 (our view from Section 1 was really good)

Whats the story with recording at concerts? I saw a guy with a camcorder ffs but he was told in no uncertain terms by some staff member to put it down and not use it!!Didn't seem to be an issue with phones or cameras.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 28,128 ✭✭✭✭Mossy Monk

A camcorder is taking the piss in fairness.

Who is supporting and what time does Britney and the support kick off at does anyone know?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,892 ✭✭✭Harpy

ciara was supposed to be supporting in manchester but she ended up having no support on the night.. she was brilliant though great show.. did she have support in dublin?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 228 ✭✭kazza90210

It wasn't me that had the camcorder. It was some young guy, looked about 15/16 4 rows ahead of me.

Now, how he managed to get it in without been noticed I don't know, but security only seemed interested in the bags of women and making sure lids were off bottles of water!
I had a small umbrella in one coat pocket and my trusty Sony cybercam in the other!

Lads all of ye that are sayin ye went to see Britney and she put on a great show must have been blind folded. First of all she mimed all of her songs which is grand if she danced but she didn't, i went to see her on the Saturday night she was playing in the 02 and all she did was walked from one end of the satge to the nxt, which was grand with me cos i didn't pay for the tickets(i got them complimentary), if i did pay for them i would be asking for my refund. Her show was brutal - no effort whatsoever put in on her behalf even when she wasn't dancin i.e when she was in the umberella thingy singin "everytime" she still mimed. I was very dissapointed because i was looking forward to going to see her and love all her songs but now i'm just totally put off. I don't see why ye all think she put on a great show.
