Advice on cable splitter please

    Hi
I have NTL cable basic digital TV coming into my living room.
I want to tap into the supply, put a splitter/amplifier into the attic, and drop the new supply into 6 new rooms.
Can you advise on what parts I need to do this? I would only plan on having analog over co-ax into the 6 rooms, and I have a spark ready to do the work, just need the parts.
I have NTL broadband and phone going into a separate study room upstairs that won't need to be touched, unless that would be a better source to tap from...

    Thanks
    BigBru

Won't NTL do this for you when they are installing the 6 new boxes? UPC did for my sister recently.

I don't think they're going to hack off plaster and chase in the cabling I need, then make good and paint.
I just want to get the infrastructure right first off..
