First time I saw him was at GV Ryan and he is so raw. When he strenghtens up he could be a real good one. He is very, very skinny (dare I say Boltesque;)) which is great as there is so much potential. He is lightly trained so it could be 4 or 5 years before he gets up to full potential. He jogged the GV Ryan but when I saw him run yesterday I thought this guy could be the real deal (maybe be at 400 ultimately).

Theres a decent 4x100m team there now for Euro Juniors-Russell/Colvert/Ogenlewe/Adams!

Definetly as they are a well balanced team also-Adams to Ogenlewe to Russell to Colvert is the way i would go with them.Whos the coach for the Euro Junior team?Do they actually train for relays well in advance?

Well going on how they went about the relays for last year at the world juniors the mens 4x4 team meet up 3 or 4 times in santry and did a hole session working with a top Sprint coach from the Uk. Same with the girls

They Should send a team, would love to see the junior 4x1 go this year after seeing the 4x4 did so well in poland, Im sure the girls 4x1 will be strong again this year.

And yes ste is a such a raw talent, Crusaders are very lucky too have him. Hopefully he can stay in the sport and keep improving. And too those who say he is skinny i saw a foto of hession when he was about 18 and he was as skinny as ste, and hession is no slouch in the gym ill tell u

Saying he is skinny and running 10.7 is a compliment to the lad. Wait until he gets stronger. There is a lot of jigging and reeling going on in his upper body which will probably disappear a bit when he gets stronger. This will surely make him more efficient.

Indeed they almost have to the record is 19 years old the AAI need to highlight positives from there youth policies. With this and the Youth Olympic team can show the the sport is really taking a step forward in grass roots level

Does this mean that Bolt could be even better if he bulked up?!

No, probably not. Bolt is skinny strong and gangly yet solid, Steven is skinny and gangly and not solid. I wouldn't say he needs to bulk up but he is skinny and soft and just needs to get stronger all over to make him more efficient. He looks like a high jumper:)

Bolt is not as big as typical sprinters however he is not skinny his muscle definition is apparent so there is not of that "jigging" in his stride so it is a different kettle of fish
