Hi Guys does anybody know the best way to travel from Blackrock to Portobello or anywhere in the region of Harcourt Street/St Stephens Green by public transport.

DART / bus to the Grand Canal and walk up?

Alternatively DART to Pearse and 44/48a (no so many of them these days) to the canal.

Or DART / bus to city centre and anybus to Rathmines.

Oh, which end of Portobello - Rathmines or Harold's Cross - its a fair walk.

If you don't want to walk much, take a 4/A or 7 to Clare Street, walk around the corner to Leinster House, then choose from 14/A, 15/A/B, 128, 142 (and a few others) to Portobello.
