Getting a summer job in Dublin

I'm a college student just finished his first year. I desperately need to earn some money but I'm having a tough time finding work. I've been going around to shops with CVs but when I ask if they're hiring 90 per cent of them say they are not.

I don't care what kind of work I do. I can't work a cash register but I am confident I would be able to learn how if somebody was to show me one evening after the shop closed.

Anyone know of anywhere hiring, or have any general tips for me? I'm confident that my CV is up to standard. Much appreciated!

Its just a matter of looking at job sites and applying for everything.

the best way to get a job remains if you know someone! If your family/friends know someone give them a ring.
