Problems with laptop and projector displays

    hi hoping some1 can help me, im trying to link my new projector up with my laptop. it worked initally for 5 mins now it only allows me to show the desktop form either the laptop or the projector; but unfortunatly not both at the same time. ive being lookiing at the display settings and constanly pushing alt and f7; hoping it will address itsely but no luck so far. if anyone has any solutions to my problem that would be brill.

    If you're using Vista try launching the Windows Mobility Center from the start menu and see if that doesnt help you any.

    Try reducing your screen resolution and refresh rate slightly, might help

    Try disabling hardware acceleration in the advanced display settings.

    Give me the make and model of your laptop, as well as the graphics card in the laptop, if you know it. You're looking for duelview, or something. I know ATI and nVidia cards do it, but I don't think the Intel crap can.

    Alt + F7 switches. It's what it's meant to do.

    Its fn & f5 on my laptop to make it work, to toggle through the options
