hello i'm thinking of buying Merida 903..... http://www2.merida-bikes.com/en_GB/Bikes.Detail.216 it sells for around £820, would anyone reccomend it for a first road bike, or possibly suggest an alternative in and aound the £800 - £900 sterling mark?? new to this whole cycling carry on so any advice would be geat! is…

I'm no expert but I have a Merida road bike and love it. I find it very comfortable and have not had any issues with it. I cannot find the model I have on the site and cannot remember the model name. I am useless like that. I do know that it has a Dura-Ace derailleurs.
