    What happening with him?

He is going from WWE or has he signed a new contract?

He is pretty much the most over guy in WWE at present.

I read in power slam that he's rejected every contract they've offered him and he plans on leavng when his contracts up in july.

He's apparently burned out and broken down due to the 4 matches a week schedule wwe runs.

It baffles me why he'd opt to leave now just after he's broken through the glass ceiling but thats Jeff Hardy for ya!

On the other side of that coin, he proved every naysayer wrong. Maybe that was his point from the start.

He got in, got to the top, then got out, saying "f*ck you" to everyone else in the process.
More power to him in my honest opinion.

Expect them to start embarressing stories for him in the lead up to his goodbye if he doesn't sign.

    Yeah fair point I spose
Plus when he eventually decides to return I'm sure he can negotiate a big money deal for himself
    Its a win-win situation I guess!

Its a pity if he leaves. I watch Smackdown regularly now because of the quality of wrestlers on there and he's pretty much the most over guy in WWE. I think they really need him imho, but then again it's his choice.

Unless Vince really needed him I doubt they'd try to get him back if he does **** them off.

Apparently Jeff has always been smart with his money (despite his drug problems) and could happily retire and devote his time to other interests.

Say what you want about it being stupid to walk away when he's finally made it to the top, but I know I'd rather see one less premature death in wrestling than a few more years of Jeff Hardy matches.

perhaps a return to TNA is in the offing?

I would think not. What advantage does TNA hold over WWE for Jeff Hardy?

Powerslam generally have Wrestling Observer reports a few weeks later. The last thing I remember reading in the Observer was something like Jeff hasn't fully committed one way or the other, so WWE are planning as if he'll be leaving

I don't think that they'll try screw him over in any way, because it was reported that a lot of wrestlers are really proud of Jeff for leaving on his own terms, if that's what he chooses to do. Upsetting Jeff would upset a lot of others

The one they normally have - 4 days a month. That said I don't think he'll there go either.

I love this, people keep bringing up Jeff's drug problems, but blatantly ignored Austin's alcohol problems when he was on top. :)

This, right here. Between 2000 and 2002 i used to literally fear for Jeff's life! We didn't have RAW live then, so i'd be wary of going on the net to find the headline "Jeff Hardy dies in the ring... One swanton too far" or "Should have used a shorter ladder". If he's made his money, then walk while you still have your health.

Too bad you'll have several wrestling fans begrudge you for doing so. Rock is still getting backlash for it.

Really? This is Jeff not Matt we are talking about. :pac: a main eventer who sells a ton of merchandise and apart from Cena is the most over wrestler in WWE, if Vince is willing to take back Chris Masters, Jeff will be fine. :p

spot on! i think wwe expects jeff to continuously out do himself and do a bigger and better spot and i dont think it is a case of if, its more when one of these spots seriously hurts him. He goes out on the top, on his own terms, fair play to him for doing so i wont begrudge him anyway!

    Amen.
They took him back in after a failed push in WWE to upper midcard and a really abysmal run in TNA, when most people (including some people here) had him completely written off.

Trust me, if Vince is as paranoid as the recession as he's been reported to be, clearly WWE need Jeff more than Jeff needs WWE.

Aye, recession ain't gonna last forever though.

Exactly, meaning that if Jeff's smart with investments regarding money, he's due to make a killing with the buy low, sell high mentality. Assuming he has a decent financial adviser.

Aye, I can never understand how people get broke even with a drug addiction, like there's only so much heroin ya can take without dying, it's not the most expensive habit in the world.

What I meant was that if there is an upturn then that will be one less reason for Vince to beg him to come back, but I think we're getting a bit to far into ifs and buts at this stage. I'd prefer if he stayed, but good luck to him either way.

Bad financial investments basically, investing in companies that go bust, not saving. Hell, look at Ric Flair! He didn't save a red cent and is broke into his 60s!

I knew what you meant, but if Jeff played it smart, he won't need to come back. Also with Vince, he tends to take whatever he wants just to prevent others from getting it. If there is an upturn, there's a good chance he'd still want Jeff because he'll have even more money to play around with. ;)

Times don't change people, my friend. :)
