Nigles out in lisbawn is probably the best shop in town.

I'd price in Nigel's, Kearney's beside the N17 superstore, Harry's in Ballybane and the Mountain Bike Shop in town.
Just see who's giving the best deal for what you're looking for, and price them against each other.

Cycling forum may advise buying online, if you know your size and what you're looking for. Also, they'll ask what you need the bike for - if its commuting, then its not a mtb you need.

Nigels or Kearneys. Avoid the rest.

Kearneys had some very good deals on new Trek bikes the last time I was in there.

    Hi

Don't forget to check out the bike to work scheme, I did it and got my bike at Nigels. Overall the saving should be approx 53%

Here's a good website too. It has loads of bicycles and related stuff so that you can compare prices:

    :DCheers for all the replys

My last bike got stolen from outside the kingfisher gym, was chained up:(
I didnt like it to be honest, it had no suspension what so ever. The bike i had before was a quality bike great suspension, lovely mountain bike,

i need it to cycle to gym and work and just on spins here and there, i really want a nice mountain bike though. When cycling i usualy swap from footpath to road as i cycle. I see no point in slowing down traffic when you have a huge free footpath to cycle on, however i never go fast on them, walkers always have right of way.

I think i will check out the shops mentioned, our work isnt doing the bike scheme, which sucks, though not as much as 16 hour days:(
