Recommend me an Aerial?

I am going to install a new aerial solely dedicated to DTT from Mullaghanish, at the moment my older UHF aerial is focused on a local transmitter and both are fed into a box which I think is the mast head amp and another cable from it runs to I think the power supply which is plugged into the power, two cables run from it to both the Kitchen and living room.

This system was installed around 1998 by a local Electrician for to receive both TNAG and TV3.

I have a DTT MPEG4 Receiver and when I connect it to the current older UHF antenna I get weak signal and it is pixalated and un-watchable, when the "booster" power supply is turned off no signal is receivable at all. All these aerials are in the attic but I am not worried about moving it out if I have to.

What I want is to install a new very high gain UHF antenna for DTT with a high gain amplifier ("booster") so that I pull in as much signal as possible, I also want the power supply distributor to have at least 4 out ports as I want to send the signal to the living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. Finally does a DTT PVR require two cables for PVR functionality similar to Sky+ or would one aerial feed do?

Any help would be great thanks!

I have attached a paint drawing of my current setup.
