I'll start us off with some essential reading:

The Glory Game - Hunter Davies

Every Spurs fan should have read this, here's the blurb from Amazon:

When the first edition of The Glory Game was published in 1972, it was instantly hailed as the most insightful book about the life of a football club ever published. Hunter Davies was, and still is, the only author ever to be allowed into the inner sanctum of a top-level football team (Tottenham Hotspur) and his pen spared nothing and no one. The book deals with the season we won the Uefa Cup vs Wolves (1971/72), there are some fascinating insights into the beginnings of the commercialisation of the game. Well worth reading.

Was away last week myself - came home to find The Glory Game waiting for me. Not that far into it but can already tell you right now it's a must read for Spurs fans. Nevermind spending the season with the team he actually trained with them wearing a squad number etc - a fantastic insight into the inner workings of the club. I'd never heard of this book until it was posted here so thanks very much for the heads up.

How about The Lane of Dreams by Norman Giller....I got my signed copy yesterday...excellent stuff..

It is a good read and contains lots of memories by the fans and stuff from Greavsie and Perryman.

Has good Photo's as well..
