While one might disagree with one or two of the rankings in this list (drawn up by a Canadian- eg good food and sunshine appear to have a low priorities....) the cities he has listed are among the greenest cities on the planet. You will find the odd farm in Zurich (off-limits to property developers) within minutes of an SBahn suburban railway station. Personally I'd swap Paris's number 8 ranking with Barcelona, and would give Amsterdam a lower ranking than Kyoto, Geneva or Lisbon.
