Yet another shoes and dress question

    Hi,

I have a family wedding coming up soon. I bought a dress in Zara at the weekend. It is a black and white polka dot dress - with large dots. I'm thinking of putting a red belt with it even tho the style of the dress doesnt call for it. It is gathered at the bottom hem and its kinda halter neck.

So for the shoes - I don't want anything too flashy to clash with the polka dots. I was thinking a peep toe. Maybe a wedge heel. Does anyone know where I could get this in town? Cheers my dears.

if its dublin then shoezone have a half decent selection , i was looking at some in rathmines just last week, black wedge but should not overpower your dress as they are quiet petite.:)

hi if you have time i would really re think the dotty dress rarely flattering def forget the red belt if you have to wear it keep it simple

I think the red belt could work. Brighten it up a bit. Depends if the style of the belt goes with the dress. Definitely go for a black peep toe, something simple, so that it doesnt clash. the dress sounds quite retro so a peep toe would definitely suit

I totally disagree with this! Polka dot dresses are fab. Any chance of a pic??
