    hey guys i have been designing a bucket for a tractor front loader for loading turf at the bog into trailers i want it to be strong but light i was thinging of makeing frame out of 2x3inch box section steel then taught 2x2 boxsection i have attached some rough drawings of my design
    i would be very thankful if ye could give me some ideas or advice on this

    demintions as follows

    6ft wide
    3ft frm back to front of floor
    2ft to top of bucket with 14inch overhang at 45degree angle at top of bucket .

    Why? It looks the same in the drawings to any other bucket.

    What way will it be used? Does it have to be filled by hand? Why not design something like a beet loader? Make it wider (not much weight in turf) so you could slide under the turf, and the dust and small bits would fall out through the gaps?
