Just watched this film this morning and by the end i had shivers down my spine, (the good kind), what a beautiful little film. I loved it.

Any thoughts from others who've seen it?

Such a nice little feelgood film. Short, sweet and to the point. Has oodles of charm, and is probably the best advertisement ever made too :pac: (film was funded by Eurorail or someone - kind of does make you want to take the chunnel!).

Thomas Turgoose is such atalented actor, its a pity he made Eden Lake really. I think any Shane meadows movie is quality viewing.

I thought it was very good, but not a patch on some of his older stuff, (This is England, A Room for Romeo Brass, Dead Man's shoes, 24-7)

I havent seen once upon a time in the Midlands but I know he hates that one himself...

Those 4 you mentioned are absolutely unreal. Especially dead mans shoes and romeo brass. Paddy Considine is a fantastic actor, pretty underrated I reckon.

Thought it was a great little film.

That said ... the last film I saw Perry Benson in was "Mum & Dad", where he plays a complete monster of a man, plays him so well, that in Somers Town every time he was on screen I was urging the onscreen characters to run away as fast as possible!
