It was wild alright, pity Casey couldn't stick the pace. Reminds me of the Doohan Criville battles of the 90's. What about the 125 race, Simon what a blunder!!!

First time in years i have seen a last lap battle like that in motogp. :D
I think Rossi just decided their is no way he was going to let Lorenzo win.
3 way tie at the front in the championship. :)

i was in shock at that i couldn't believe he made such a rookie error by not looking at his pit board but fair play to Iannone he rode flawlessly and got the win

even more amazing is rossi lost the front end twice doing that pass

The last three laps were insane. Some of the best one-on-one racing I've ever seen.

Unfortunately I had it taped and had heard Rossi had won before I watched it.

Reminded me of Rossi's battles with Gibernau a few years back, great stuff.

Whatever happened to that Sete bloke anyway? Oh yea he's back now isn't he, 17th in Barcelona he should have stayed away :P

Anyone know what the story is these days with the commentary on Eurosport? Where have Randy & Co gone?

Cos they lost the live coverage:( so they don't send commentators to races, so they don't have Randy at all now. But for the delayed coverage they usually have Toby and Julian but not for the Barca one for some reason. I watched the eurosport coverage later on sunday (after watching it live on bbc) just to hear the Europsort guys going mental but they weren't on:(:(:(:( yes, 4 frowny faces.
The eurosport team were second to none. Julian and Toby were class commentators that had a great rapport, then Randy knew all the racers so he was great around the pits and knew what to ask the riders, and then they had that technical guy who could explain how the new technology worked. They made the races so much more enjoyable, it's sad to see them gone

They were brilliant alright, added so much to the races. Rarely have i been able to see the races live this year so I've been keeping with Eurosport anyway. It just isn't the same watching it on BBC or, god forbid, RTE

Toby moody and Julian Ryder will be commentating the next race, not sure how many more they are doing after that but as far as I'm aware its all down to the budget, as eurosport got the deal to show motogp so late that they had already set there budget for the year when the deal was done there was no money left to send the lads to each race plus the two of them had already taken jobs for the year so it was all last minute to even get the coverage sorted

Cracking race - possibly will be the best this season.

I wonder if Rossi's lap of the TT the previous monday inspired him??
