Elverys currently sponsor the Dublin ladies section, they could be a possibility alright. Don't Elverys sponsor the Mayo Men too?

Personally I think they should go after brown thomas! ;)

More than likely it will be some big sports company so they can have a similar arrangement to the one they had with Arnotts. The bug question is who can afford to put up that kind of money.

If Dublin were to Win the All-Ireland this year and the hurlers had a good championship run the task would be a lot easier and would attract a lot of interest. Nearly everyone in the country associates Arnotts with the Dubs so it shows the kind of brand power the sky blue jersey has.

D4's couldn't care less who sponsers Dublin and Brown Thomas are a Prestige store so could see them having a problem with certain groups of Dublin supporters wearing their name. I wouldn't be suprised if it were a Bookmakers tbh

the dubs will probably have no sponsor and alternatively will have a pic of a sovereign ring, pyjamas and big hoopy ear rings instead lol

There may well be a player who went to blackrock on the team as well as lots of supporters from all over dublin. You don't get the crowds that Dublin get without having mass appeal........

Maybe someone like the Dundrum Town Centre, alot of GAA clubs close by... ........
Most prob be elverys, JJB, Marathon sports lifestyle etc or one of the phone companies......

I think in this climate, unless the dubs perform exceptionally well in the championship, it will be hard to get a company to fork out €1 million.

I'd be interested to see exactly how the deal is broken down. Could they possibly try to get two main sponsors?
