    Hi all,

Just wondering are there any bird rescue centres in Ireland. Just enquiring as a pre-emptive measure. It's handy to know these things on my wanderings.

Never heard of any here. Best bet could be local vet or wildlife ranger... possibly nearest branch of ISPCA (http://www.ispca.ie/) too. Birdwatch Ireland head office would have a good idea of key ornithologists / enthusiasts around the country.

Edit: for most situations however, advice is put bird out of immediate danger and give it space, let nature takes its course.
