For anyoneone who's recovering from wisdom tooth removal and has that awful problem of food stuck in the holes, here's a homemade helping hand.
Last night I chanced eating turkey (I'm on day five of recovery here at this point) and of course some got stuck in the extraction site which became very sore. So I trawled the internet for answers- most mentioned some sort of syringe type thing but my dentist never gave me anything, then I found this home made solution- it's a bit fiddley but works really well. Used a warm salt solution and the crap that came outta the hole was unreal (mostly bits of turkey and bits of the veggie stuff they give you with noodles-ugh)
Feeling loads better now! So thought I'd pass along the help! Here's the webpage: http://www.wikihow.com/Remove-Food-out-of-Holes-from-Extracted-Wisdom-Teeth
Hope it helps you guys too :D

Useful tip ... if a little bit gross ;)

Got my bottom wisdom teeth out about a year ago now ... it healed up great for me, filled up the holes completely, you would never know you had teeth there :)
