Speakesy have a plan where you top up by 20 euro and your calls and texts to all o2 numbers are free for a month.You then go back to paying for those calls and texts until you top up by 20.

They have a pay monthly option that is similar but if your missus is only away for the summer there is no point in tying yourself into a contract.
