Mine would probably be the 1920's. I love heavily embroidered, sequined clothing, anything with lace, feathers or netting and long, elegant lines and shapes. I also love that it's pretty dark and gothic, with a sexy androgynous twist, it just makes it so edgy! I do like the 1950's look too though, I think it's really glamourous and flattering to women's shapes, as opposed to the more masculine, boxy shapes of 1920's fashion.

    So what's yours? :)

The Mods and the skinhead punks might not have agreed with each other, but they both looked great none the less!

My favourite decades of fashion would probably be the 60's and the 80's (less Cyndi Lauper and more Whitesnake, Motley Crue etc..)

Love, love, looove, the 60's for the mini dresses and skirts, the big hair and big eyes, false eye lashes, lots of kohl. Love the pea coats, tent dresses, fur, prints (Liberty London <3) from that era.

Love the 80's for big hair again, body con dresses, leggings, high tops. Love the glam/sleeze/thrash metal scene of the era, majorly back-combed hair, leather jackets, studs, body con skirts, bright colours, big use of eye make up too. Awesome :)

Im with the OP on this always loved the "Flapper" style dress of the 1920's and i loved hove the fashion of the 1960's was about pushing boundaries and trying to bring about a form of social revolution.
I know for sure which decade i hate - 1980's, why is neon making a comeback why oh why.

1920,s fashion , if i ever see any photos or movies from that era i do tend to note the fashion but for me in that era its the materials used ....yards of satins and silk, so feminine so sheik. :)

Ooh difficult. I really like 1950's style, with petticoats and babydoll dresses, which is mainly what I wear now. However, I really really love Victorian style dresses and corsets. They are incredibly elegant and beautiful.

For me and mens clothing it would have to be 1930's, pre war before everything became spartan, military and utilitarian. Boxy shoulders, double breasted jackets, two and three pleated and tapered trousers.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.
