Does anyone know any companies in Blanchardstown(preferably)or just Dublin 15 that hire people for data entry or telecommunications?
Also what experiences has everyone here had with this kind of work?

Are you sure you meant telecommunications there? - this is a very complex areas and would require a load of experience to get a job in.

Hmmm...er well my mam said its a job where you have a book full of info about the company product and when a customer rings about a problem with it,you use the book to help them fix the product. Is that not telecommunications? Theres a company she got a job offer from years ok called telecommun or something and thats what the job description was for them.

Ok that sounds more like just support, telesupport or telesales etc.
I don't think a lot of experience would be vital in this area, prob go on a week's training/induction and then ready to start. Wouldn't expect need any qualifications, but then again never know.

yeah thats why i want to apply to those sectors, because i only have leaving cert and very little work experience.
do you know any companies in dublin 15 that hire for these sectors?:o

Sorry, I'm in Cork myself, though funnily enough, theres a good few of these jobs down here but unfort they require fluency in another language such as German/French :( - could be same up there.

Are you planning to go to college? Summer only jobs would be hard to come across. Even full time jobs now :(

I am hopefully going to college or doing a plc but i want to keep the job i get even when i start. SO im looking for a part time permanent job that i can apply to without much experience and a leaving cert as qualifications. Most people in my position apply to shops but since these jobs are so scarce and the rush of students out for summer is taking up the dregs of them,Im tryin to find alternative jobs that i can earn some sort of money from.Even 80 quid a week would be totally fine for me to be honest!Im quite good at saving so thatd be enough. Any suggestions?

To tell you the truth, I'd be very surprized if you got anything with those requirements.

Finding a full time job for people is next to impossible at the moment, a part time would be even harder in those areas. Recession is causing quite a few problems :(

Sorry I can't be more helpful but best of luck in it. Maybe, more posters from dublin area might be able to help ya.

I hope so,I'd really like to be able to help out at home and save up for college fees and such.
Any Dubliners reading this have a suggestion for unskilled sectors I could try applying to?I dont mind if its as low as fifty euro a week to be honest!
