    Hi

I am half of an unmarried couple cohabiting with baby, if I lose my job (doesn't seem v.secure) and he works what are my entitlements?

    Any advice appreciated

    Thanks in advance!

You would, presumably be entitled to some form of jobseekers allowance / benefit, but I don't think you will get the full amount if cohabitating. The maximum is about €200.

Rent allowance would again be hit if cohabitating. You and hte baby may be entitled toa medical card / doctor only card.

You would of course get your child benefit, not sure about the early child care allowance.

You may be entitled to a redundancy payment if you have been there more than 1-2 years.
