    Hi

Just played this roulette today and last Saturday. I just started doing the lottery (pick 3 numbers 300/1 odds) on the site and got curious with the roulette.

    Last Sat
Deposited my e10. Used e3 for my lottery. Used the remaining e7 messing with the roulette. Got up to e33 with it and walked away. Great luck for some reason, black came up 12 times in a row. Went back the 2nd time later and lost it all. The "0" came up a shocking amount of times!

Today, again did the same. Got up to e22. Went back a second time and wait for this. "0" came up 4 times in a row and twice again separately. There is no bloody way "0" could come up this amount of times. Thank God I only lost e14 for the 2 weeks, but either I have the worst loosing streak of 0's because I don't think this could come up in real life.

Have anyone else encountered this from Paddy Powers?

I hate those computer generated roulette wheels (the ball doesn't even spin around properly .. sometimes it lands in zero and then jumps to 16 or something .. it's nonsense .. :( ). I'd much rather lose my money on an actual "live" one. Try www.dublinbet.com maybe ?

Thanks for the info. I won't be playing again. Much rather the spreadbetting at the moment to be honest, I love BOI and AIB at the moment :D.

I just don't trust this computer roulette, I just think the odds of this happening twice as well as the 6 "0's" coming up in the first line is so small but yet it happened.

That sentance sums up exactly why you should not be playing it. The wheel has no memory. Every number has the same odds on every spin.

I think the point is that he doesn't trust the software used to run the roulette. Your quotes above are obviously true for a real roulette wheel but with a software generated version the customer has no guarantee of this.

All these online casino games are independently tested and certified. Im pretty sure testing is carried out over millions of spins!
Why would any of the online bookies have crooked games when they have the edge over the customer anyway?

It amazes me that people think they can make money from these things!

Also as stated above, each spin is independent of the last spin! So the odds of 0 coming up the 2nd time, is the same as any other number. The roulette wheel does not know what number came u the last time, so the same number has an equal chance as any other number for the next spin!
Obviously the odds of 0 coming up twice in a row is longer, but there is no way to bet on 2/3/4 etc. spins of the wheel. Each spin is independent of any spins before it.

I never said crooked. I prefer the term buggy. If you guarantee that the software is bug free then fair play. Theres a first time for everything.

Also I'm sure the testing is independent. That is no guarantee of the quality of the testing. I'm seen plenty of rubbish software certified.
