    How come I can start this thread but not respond to any other threads in the helpdesk forum?
    Responses just for mods and the like?

    Exactly - only the Admins, original post starter and any mods we give access to to answer a relevant thread can post on that thread.

    Only Admins and, sometimes, mods can respond to Help Desk threads. Please read the stickies at the top of the forum for more information.
