Walking the Marathon

I'm planning to walk the New York Marathon on Nov 1st and wonder if anyone is interested in meeting up for training sessions. I live in Co. Meath but close to Drogheda. Walked the Dublin Marathon in '07 and '08, taking just over 6 hours. I have an 18 week training schedule but find it difficult to motivate myself to "just do it!" The timing would also suit anyone doing the Dublin City Marathon.

Star of the Sea AC have a Fit4Life group who meet on Gormanston beach every Saturday. You might find someone there to train with. Contact details on Star of the Sea AC website.

Apologies for delay in replying, meathcountysec. Hopefully this is what I was looking for. Will certainly give Gormanston beach a visit. Thanks again!
