does everyone else drive like d*cks to you other lads with performance cars?

im on the road not even 3 months with my new car, and already had to report 2 cars for lethal driving!! now im not one to squeal etc, but in both cases these lads were putting lives in danger, seemingly to try prove a point that means nothing?

for example, today, there was a guy nudging his way out from the right, but couldnt have been arsed letting him out cos thought it was a taxi, a bit up, i was stoped at a pedestrian crossing, with 2 kids 6 or 7 yrs old, and he UNDERTAKES me, by mounting the footpath at about 30 mph, and off the far side (rampy type kerb) all it took was the kids to be runnin across and they were killed stone dead?:(:(

and the other is another guy was on the motorway wouldnt let me overtake him cut short story:rolleyes:

and wierd thing? both were avensis's:confused: is it cos i drive a primera?

I dunno, there's a bit of give-and-take necessary, maybe you contributed to the reason he did what he did. It wouldn't have killed you to just let him out (not doing it because you thought he was a taxi driver shows a basic lack of manners on your side)
I'm not saying it's your fault or anything, but what's the point in being so bad-minded to someone you don't know.

I'm sure you hold doors open for people, or if you're walking along a crowded street, you'll let pedestrians pass. why does this change once we get into cars?

im generally a pollite driver, i just wasnt bothered letting him out tbh, had i not been in such slow driving traffic pottering along i prob would have let him out

Well I'm sure it wouldn't have killed garyegt to let him out but he doesn't have to and as is if he says it the traffic was moving fast enough it wouldn't make much sense. That no way pardons the behaviour of the chap in the avensis

Have to say I was was worried getting a Teg, thought that people on the road would not let me out anywhere and generally look at me in disgust but it hasn't happened, drivers are generally nice to me, let me out no problem.

Only problem I've ever had is idiots in there 1.4 ****boxes trying to race me, I just let them on there way and laugh at them

I actually said that in my own post.

I get the impression that the other driver might have thought that gary was gonna let him out, but then gary sped up/kept going, this pissed the other driver off.

Obviously I wasn't there, but this seems the only plausable scenario, unless the other guy was completely insane?

Anyhoo, back to the general question, people treat me differently depending on what car I'm in. If I'm driving my repmobile, I find people don't get out of my way on the motorway, but if they see my weekend car coming up behind them, they just get out of the way. Also find people let me out of junctions more with the weekend car too.

    Nice

I seen a few of the old ones like yours and they look well. I just thought it was the new model Primera so I was curious what it looked like.

I don't know much about the old Primera's but I do love that version. I think the one after it had more curves and looked dorky looking.

DOn't think that car has anything going for it TBH, each to their own and all that, but it just looks like a badly modified repmobile to me.
