Alot of the hospitals have gone with these guys for the cycle to work scheme

Don't think you can buy your bike anywhere else.

    www.buildabike.ie

These guys are gonna make alot of money out of it if they are the sole supplier!
Bit unfair you can only get a trek......

Thats not HSE, its voluntary hospitals, they are not under control of HSE, so are free to introduce the scheme.
HSE still have not introduced the scheme,

any sign of the HSE adopting this scheme yet? It's more than a bit hypocritical of this government to offer such such a scheme, promote a national bike week, and then say that the largest employer in the state, which they control, cant participate!!!!!!icon8.gif

Doesn't say much for the Greens either, this was their idea and the rest of the government is just sticking their two fingers up at them when it comes to the actual implementation of it!icon2.gificon13.gif

Feckers it's my only chance as I'm an employee 1/10th of the week and self employed the other 9/10ths
Wouldn't ride a trek any way

No they say they are introducing it on a trial basis in Dublin NE, although I dont know if it is being implemented at all. I dont think they want to introduce it nation wide.
They could save thousands with reduced employer PRSI.

Hi, anyone any update on this?, have they rolled it out or are they piloting it in Dublin NE HSE? what is the hold up with it nationally? If so, have you got a contact name/number?

Prision officiers got it a few weeks back apparently. Are HSE staff not legally entitled to it? a local bike shop told me that it's the admin side of things that needs to be sorted in each HSE region and once that's done it's ok????
