    Be carefull on Ebay,most laptop batteries sold are counterfeit, ie spurious and not made by Dell or their suppliers. You could risk your machine going up in smoke or end up with a second dud in a few weeks time.

    Best buying a genuine Dell replacement. I learned the hard way with chinese aftermarket rubbish on an EEEPC, ended up tossing a "long life" battery after a month. .
