    Saw it before, quite funny. Somehow couldn't see the Air Corps getting away with something similar.

    The underlying joke to those who are unaware of it is that the New Zealanders got rid of their fast jet capability, notably the A4 Skyhawks because quite frankly as the video points out none too subtly, they were no bloodly use to anyone except the jet jocks who flew them. So of course the part of the jets is played by the Huey.

    If only the Irish government had the foresight to get rid of the PC-9s in the same way. Not quite fast jets but just as useless. Toys for the boys.

    That's funny on so many levels. I know a lot of guys who went into fast jet and they really do live their life by the top gun movie. They are amazed when women turn them down cos they look like cheesy 80s has beens. As far as they know...Saying "I am a pilot" should result in kincker elastic snapping and the female in question dropping onto her back.

    All the movie quotes are spot on.
