We are finally getting 1 in kells. Has anyone heard of the expected opening date? It would be nice to give Supervalu a bit of competition.

Sorry, don't know about Kells, but just by co-incidence, I sent an email to Lidl this morning asking them if the proposed store for Dunshaughlin was opening. (There was a large sign put up just outside the town about a year ago, "COMING SOON!") but it never happened...they replied a few hours later saying they didn't know anything about it.
I also mentioned about how it would be good to have competition for the local (rip-off) Supervalue...guess we'll just have to continue to shop further afield.
