Grant: Fees paid back directly to account - is it the same for the maintence?

Got the grant for 2008/09 and the fees that I paid at the start were refunded directly to my account but no sign of additional maintenance of €3,420...someone told me I have to get it directly from college or from council...anyone know? They're all at lunch so no-one answering phones.
