Garmin 705/305 favour please

    Can any of the guys with a Garmin 705/305 (ie one of the Garmins with the barometric altimeter) do me a favour?

    I'm looking for one (or many) gpx files (or tcx) from any route with one of these garmins. I'm working on smoothing out the elevation data from a non-barometric gpx file and would like to try my script on a few tracks with accurate elevation data.

    By the way, the 305 doesn't have a barometric altimeter.

    The 305 does have a barometric altimeter. The 205 does not.

    The Edge 305 does have a barometric altimeter. The Edge 205 does not. The Forerunner 305 does not either.

    For extra-precise climb and descent data, Edge 305 also incorporates a barometric altimeter to pinpoint changes in elevation.

    Oh you meant the Edge 305 :rolleyes:

    Correction - the Forerunner 305 doesn't have barometric altimeter ....

    Nope. I think it's a size issue. They would make the watch even bigger.
