    Hey guys,

I posted a previous thread about buying a single speed. Went to Cycleways and inquired about the spech langster, but they dont
have it in a size 58. Bummer. I just sold my sirrus and dont want to
cycle my racer in and out of town and am hoping to buy a bike very
soon. Saw a guy on a Charge Plug yesterday and thought it looked class.
Does anybody have any knowledge or any advice on the bike?

    Thanks

They're a bit heavy, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Good bike for the cash, a couple of people on here have 'em, and I was very tempted.

You'll have to mail order though iirc there's noone in Ireland that stocks them.

Have a look at the Kona Paddy Wagon -Cyclelogical have 'em and they're a great bike -used to have one before it got written off in a crash.

The charge plug is imo the nicest of the shop bought fixies. You might also want to check out the giant bowerys http://www.cyclesuperstore.ie/shop/pc/showsearchresults.asp?priceFrom=0&priceUntil=999999999&idCategory=0&order=3&quicksearch=1&keyword=bowery , which are all very good bikes.

Hey, does anbody know of a bricks and morter shop in Ireland that have Charge bikes? I've heard cycleways, but they don't show it on their website.

Also, can you fit mudguards on these babies? There doesn't seem to be much spacing between the back wheel and the frame.

Off the peg track bikes :(

Only kidding, the Fuji track bike is pretty good value for money, the frame is good quality and it's fine for racing on too. Can't get full mudguards on it though.

I have a Charge Plug. Best around town bike I've had (& I've had quite a few at this stage). Cycleways will order in for you. Only problem I had was the tyres that came on it were ****e! Once upgraded no looking back!

Cycleways are getting the plug in at the end of the month. I have the 07 paddywagon-great frame but crap components. Have ended up upgrading almost everything and twisted the fork last weekend in a crash. Find shops in dublin very expensive for fixies...best bet may be to get a fuji off ebay
