was thinking of heading down there some day. just wondering do the great black backed gulls cause any hassle when heading over to the gannet colony. just they kept flying at me last year on irelands eye.

They'll be the same on the Saltees as they are on Ireland's eye. They are defending their nests. If you have a tripod or monopod holding it higher than your head is a distraction for them.
