    Hi all
Looking for some advice. I currently use clinique take off the day and 3 step. I love the products and find that they keep my skin clear.
However on nights like tonight when I arrive home to find everyone else asleep, all hell breaks loose when I start running the tap to fill sink etc.

Can anyone suggest a good make up remover/cleanser that doesnt use water? I have tried the cleansing wipes and don't think they are great.

The boots Geranium cleansing milk and Rosewater skin tonic (toner) are lovely. They're not too expensive either, about €7 each, lovely and gentle cleansing.

Maybe on those evenings you could skip the 1st step? Just make sure you remove your makeup well, then use a damp facecloth to clean residue off, then finish the steps? Or what I do if I'm out I leave my face stuff/pjyamas in the kitchen and use the sink there to wash my face.

Cleansing wipes will really only cover the same thing as 'take the day off' so better off sticking with that, and then using the facecloth.

will the boots cleanser remove make-up?
I am sadly never organised enough to leave out my pjs etc, usually on nights like last night it was very late when I left work (am meant to finish at 5pm not 1130pm :( )
Thanks for the advice so far

Yup it removes everything. Don't think it can be used for eye make up though.

Try L'Oreal de-maq expert, they have a few different ones but the milk to toner one is great!

I use Ultra Bland by Lush. You just need a damp muslin cloth or cotton pad to remove all types of face and eye make up. I love it :)

I was going to recommend Ultra Bland too! Leaves my skin ridiculously nice and soft afterwards.

I use vasaline to remove eye make up. A fingertip sized splode, very gently masaged into the closed eye breaks down even waterproof make up. Remove with a cotton pad. Repeat to remove all traces. Then I smear some vasaline on my eyelids before I go to sleep.

Note-I have very very dry skin. This may not be a good idea for oily skined peeps.

To remove anything else I use Aveeno cleanser. Rub in with fingertips, remove with a cotton pad. I usually give my face a splash of water then at the end before putting on either neutrogena or eucerin moisturiser.

I have super sensitive skin and this routine gives me no bother.

Garnier Clean Sensitive - it's fantastic and leaves your skin feeling so yummy.

I use clinque too but I also have simple facial wipes for the nights when I just want to roll into bed, good for makeup removal.

Bi-facil by Lancome is ace for taking off eye make up, I really can't sing its praises enough. The simple range is good enough form what I can remember...

does what it says on the tin, literally dissolves the make up right off your face! and at €7 it's recession friendly too!
