gah, I've driven myself demented, can anyone remember..?

    Do you remember? Ther was a show, an Irish show, on the Den, I'd say early to mid-90s, a puppet show...

    and there was two kids, a boy and a girl, and the girl was older and their parents had just died or something, and they were living with this horrible female relative, or maybe she was just really bossy...

    And the boy's doll was posessed or something... and there was a bit where his football got posessed as well. And the doll tried to make him like it by teaching him magic..? And it had something to do with the sea... or waves or something. I really associate the sea and fishing nets with it for some reason, and I remember one bit where he was playing something and the bossy female relative took his joystick away saying "give me that control" in this really prim voice...

    Sorry I'm being so vague, but it's really hard to remember, but I was talking it over with someone and now we're both getting headaches trying to remember it. Any help would be much appreciated!

    I'm nearly sure it's the rimini riddle you're talking about. The lads were Ruari and Leo, I can't remember the sister's name and their aunt was Vera. She dated a guy puppet that looked like the villian in naked gun 2. There's been one or two threads here about it so if you search rimini riddle you should be able get a bit more information about it.
