New Job while still waiting for the dole

    hi there, im starting a new job in two weeks, i signed on for JA 9 weeks ago, im wondering will i get my payments im due when i start work or will i have to wait for longer?? any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Congrats on getting a job! Well done!

    I suggest you call to welfare or send them an email. Sign off and you might even get a cheque for a full amount.

    That what happenned to me! Talk to them or go to the office!

    Its disgraceful that people are waiting so long especially when they have children to care for...... My brother has a new born lost his job and was told he could be waiting from 10 to 15 weeks what a joke:mad:
