Java Developer needed in Wexford

    Our company is looking for a full-time Java developer to take responsibility for the DoneDeal.ie web site.

    The job is located in Wexford town.

    You need these points:
    1. You MUST be one of Ireland’s best Java programmers
    2. You MUST be a really friendly, fun, and happy person
    3. Have lots of Java, J2EE, Servlets, and JSP experience, preferably with Tomcat or JBoss (at least 4 years real-world experience)
    4. Have lots of experience developing software in an organised and structured way
    5. Ability to work independently
    And these points earn you extra cred:
    1. Java web stuff: Struts, Spring, JavaServer Faces, Hibernate, JDBC
    2. Web stuff: HTML/XHTML, CSS, HTTP, Ajax
    3. Development techniques: Agile development, Test driven development
    4. Scalability/Manageability: JMS, MQ, JMX, LDAP
    5. Databases: PostgreSQL or MySQL
    6. Tools: Eclipse, Subversion, UML

    Your main responsibilities at DoneDeal will be:
    • Java & JSP development for the DoneDeal web site

    • Take responsibility for major projects on the web site
    • Take responsibility for minor projects: bugs, user interface enhancements, etc
