Hub question

I've had a System Ex flip-flop hub on the rear wheel of my singlespeed for about two years but lately it's been behaving differently. So I'm wondering if there's something wrong with it.

When I walk the bike, the cranks move forward, whereas they used to stay still. I'm guessing the freewheel mechanism in the hub isn't what it used to be. (I'm using the freewheel side of the hub, obviously.) Of course I can still freewheel when actually riding the bike, but I'm wondering if I'm not resisting the forward motion of the wheel in doing that, thereby losing energy.

I also hear clicks from the bike when I put the power down and I'm pretty sure it's not the cranks, seatpost or saddle causing it.

Could it be that some of the hub's bearings are gone?

Should I think about replacing the whole thing?

    Any thoughts are much appreciated...

Sounds like your freewheel, change that they cost e20 and see how you get on.

As regards to clicks, just take a hour and tighten and grease up EVERYTHING.
