I have the Canon 450d with macro lens and ring flash. I think it was about €2000.:D

It's a twin light, supposed to give better light to the back of the mouth with less shadows than the ring flashes and with less reflection. It's wireless commanded by the cameras built in flash.
It's a nikon R1 unit(flash) no change from £400stg but if it helps, it has to be paid.
I'll get a few pictures up from it soon
