    Hi
Thinking of going for this next year after completing a degree in economics & sociology in UCD. Has anyone done it as an alternate route into accountancy, and is it worth doing? I think I'd prefer to have it under my belt before going for a training contract, but it is kind of expensive all the same.

Is it easy/hard getting a training contract with a firm after doing this course and not having registered for the exams with any of the accounting bodies first?

    Thanks!
