    hi there

My wipers aren't working on my on Audi a4 2000. don't budge after going slow for a few months. Went to a non-audi garage and new wiper motor is 300 euro fitted, any idea if that sounds fair or expensive?
    thanks!

Not experienced on Audi's but perhaps shop around? check other garages and make sure they're putting in new original audi parts not reconditioned or 3rd party gear. (I'm aware it may be bosch parts)
Anyways as I said try 2 more garages, one being a dealer and post up.
hope this helps and good luck! stick some Rain-x on your windows for now

I got mine done for 100 in a independent garage. Was a second hand motor tho. Car is a 02 a4

Might be stating the obviouse here but did you check the fuse first?

If the fuse is fine then maybe you could get a second hand unit from a salvaged A4 in a scrap yard?

Check the fuse and the linkage first i had the nut that links the linkage to the motor work loose and fall off on the Bora a few months ago,

Could be fuse, relay or even the nut gone from holding the linkage

on the motor, so take off the wiper covers and double check before you

have to buy a new motor.

It's difficult to get the whole piece out of the car - the following link gives good info, but not easy to get out.

After getting it out, it is acually the linkage that is ceased, nothing wrong with the motor.

I went to a garage about this and was told it was the motor. unreal!
