    Hi All,

Just looking for some advice on repairing some scraps on metal, i recently got a used Dboys M4 CQB SD in reasonably good condition. However the end of the barrell (covered by a fake silencer) has been badly scrapped exposing the metal. Just wondering how you would recommend i fix this, a type of spray solution or what should i use (that will last and return it to its original state)

    Like paint scratches?

A can of spray paint over the whole silencer would sort that, get a satin auto paint in a motor factors, should be fine.

Like matt or satin whatever suits the rifle in your opinion, for aegs I use matts or satins, but that's just the basic stuff you get in a can on a shelf, not proper matching or anything.

Would that be the same job as Krylon?

Krylon is just a brand of spray paint that has tan, OD etc. so people use it.

Any decent paint in matt or satin black will suit this purpose, just auto sprays are better than most diy crap for the home.

If your goin to halfords for the paint, as them for a scotchlite pad aswell, its a kind brillo bad sort of thing thats used for paint prep. give the surface a good rub down with that before painting otherwise the paint wont adhere. :)
