Just wondering if anybody else who has a graduate job lined up with EY has got a start date yet??

I due to start in the Audit department of a regional office but havent heard anything yet, starting to get a little nervous about it...Could no news be bad news??

Get someone else to call them - you have a right to know.

Was in that situation in the past with them and got the letter for an October start as late as September as far as I can remember.

Harcourt Hotel for the induction......the rest is history!

Ha, no sooner then i wrote my comment i got a letter through the door from them. Nothing about start dates, just about applying for exemptions.

Got another letter, start date is 28th August.

Ahh I'm jealous now, still no letter for me!
August is a really early start! I'm kind of hoping mine won't be that soon...

I got my letter on Wednesday...we seem to be starting quite a bit earlier than the other big 3...they must be that keen to get us in the door :D

Though I wish we were getting something in return for overtime, ah well, I'm grateful to have a job!

I got my letter on thursday alright, 28th August, that seems so early!

Is everybody's induction in London on the 27th, seems kind o cool.

Heres hoping the UL graduation is Monday Tuesday or Wednesday of that week, cause I'd hate to miss it.

Ahh sure I might not even have my job yet, still have to wait for the results to see if I got my 2.1!

I'm keepin my fingers crossed for my 2:1 too. Tax, mgt acc and auditing (shoulda revised the computation just before going into exam) are the subjects that are dodge, don't expect to have failed them but will be hopin that my other 4 results compensate or that Tom Kennedy and the grading committee does me a favour!

I heard the business UL grad is on the Friday...My parents are way more gutted than me, prob cos I'm looking at the fact that I'll be in London :D

BTW, does anyone know why the induction is in London?..

The Irish E&Y has closed down & the Irish offices have now become part of the British E&Y haven't they?
So that's obviously why the induction is in London since there's no longer a separate Irish branch.
