I just bought a second hand Driver, Taylor Made R7 460. I am told it weights are set in a neutral position. I would like to learn how to adjust this driver. Any help or links much appreciated.

You'll need an adjustment tool. I'm sure google or YouTube will have something on it. To be honest, as a user of said club, I think the whole movable weight thing is a cod. If it's not then I'd hate to see my bad drives as it goes right even though it's set for a draw

When I bought it, it was setup to draw, which it did. The guy in the shop reset it to neutral. He can sell me the tool but no manual. I would like to understand the adjustment myself so that I can tweek. Thanks Dude.

What shape of shot are you looking for? If you draw the ball, you should set it up for a draw and build a repetitive swing around that.
Experimenting with weight positions, will only take from the rest of your game. Like the chap said, it is a cod, its a gimmick. Get yourself a shorter driver, 44.75" inches in length, 10.5 Degrees of loft, and get the shaft pured or spine aligned.
You'll hit it a little higher, straighter and you'll be laughing when you're in the middle of the fairway each time.
In summer time shaping the ball might leave you in the rough more often that not. I prefer to be in the middle of the fairway each time.:)

I have the superquad in neutral and I don't really ever change it about... I can maybe dig up the little fold out manual and scan it but if you read the link above it goes into way more detail about moving weights.... I presume that the same applies to your model.

TM used to have all the weight configurations and ('alleged')corresponding ball flight diagrams on their website but not any more it seems. I have the 425 and set neutral. You should be able to pick up the wrench cheap enough online. It's torque limited so wouldn't recommend using a spurious one.

Don't remember the exact weights but there's 2 equal heavy ones and 2 equal light ones. I think there's 6 different configurations - 2 neutral(high and low ball flight), 2 draw & 2 fade. When you consider more weight towards the heel should produce a draw you can figure out the different combinations.

The 460 has 2 weights 2g at the toe and 14or18g at the heel (This is for a Draw) AFIAK if you switch these round you set it to neutral. I Do'nt think there is a specific fade setting like there can be on the 425.

Dont get me wrong, I love the club and 90% of the time I hit it perfect, I just dont see the need for the MWT on it. This wasn't the reason why I bought the club or why it appealed to me. I would suggest as someone has already said find a setting that suits you, either neutral or draw (or fade if posssible, Im not sure if its available), and stick with it.

You could be right there Blunder. I assumed both 425 and 460 were the same apart from the clubhead size. I've only ever had mine neutral. I have the 2 heavier weights back centre. Having those 2 at the front towards the face is also neutral but feels and sounded different at impact to me. My configuration is supposed to produce a high ball flight.

Here is the basic setup chart for the R7 Superquad

I think it used to be on the site also, but cant find it now.

It was much more extensive than the gif above, showing 20 or 30 ('alleged' is right) trajectory differences available with more than the standard weights, with the corresponding swing weight.

Have a Superquad and a 460TP (dont ask, me a ho). Despite much experimentation I cant say that I could see any difference. I think face angle adjustment is far more influencial on tailoring a club to your swing than MWT.

If I find the TM chart, will post the link.
